plz explain why.

somebody said SC could become dominant over Clemson with a money advantage. they have probably always had a huge a money advantage due to having twice as many students at Columbia campus because several branch colleges.

schools that are drowning in cash like Texas and Michigan have struggled in recent years.

money can't buy you love or titles. lol you need to have guts and heart.

And you've been 1-5 against South Carolina recently. Clemson is in a better spot right now, sure. However one of the biggest reasons Spurrier quit is because he was a liability in recruiting. Not only did he not take recruiting as seriously as he could have, his age and talks of quitting caused recruits to go elsewhere. Our facilities are constantly being upgraded, and if we bring in a coach that can recruit well, Clemson will be in trouble.

And if you a TRULY believe money doesn't help recruiting, I don't know what to tell you.

you don't look to be getting any better any time soon. Spurrier is only coach who has had any success at SC so it is silly to call it a destination school.

If Clemson wins this year then it is 3-5 over past eight seasons and will be favored to win next year at Clemson.

I remember Lee Corso telling SPurrier not to go to SC because it is a coach killer. lol

Clemson has always recruited better out of state than SC because it is more unique and has more character.

What are you laughing at? As of 2013, SC is 2nd only to LA in terms of NFL players per capita. They have a similarly sized state as both LA and AL. Have proximity to talent rich states like GA, FL, NC. Forbes routinely has them in the Top 20. No reason to think they don't have the wherewithal to be a solid program and make some noise if they get a good coach.

it's called rebuilding dumbass. we are not/will never be an Alabama-esque school that doesn't have to reload. we are not that kind of football program. Also, how in the hell does the play of our d-line translate to our qb being crushed? Christ, you are literally too stupid to argue with.
