I've only been to Waco once. I drove in on I-35, had breakfast at a Whataburger, went to the Texas Rangers Museum, drove through the Baylor campus, and promptly left.
The place had a very odd vibe to it.

I grew up in Waco, it's a nice town, but we lost our home in a fire back in the 90s.
