so...

JJ = 23 total TDs (21 passing 2 rushing)
GM = 20 total TDs (19 passing 1 rushing)

JJ > GM obviously

I think LSU has an equal amount of talent and depth. But obviously, the state of our program is far more stable and better than that of LSU. LSU is like Auburn two years ago. There about to come to a crossroads where they will likely fire their coach. What they do then will determine the state of the West for the next 5-10 years.

Sean Payton is going to be running the show with Gruden as his puppet OC. Don't worry about us one bit.

Well it's amazing to me that as "bad" as Les miles is, these big recruits still want to come here. Whoever takes the job, if Les isn't the man after this year, will hit the ground running. With the conference expanding a Texas team falling through, LSU still has that recruiting highway from Texas. And now we have frank w. holfing down la and Billy g. opening up fla.

Wouldnt go that far. Although GM has played in 4 more games than JJ it would be fair to say that Alabama is strictly a run first, run second, pass third offense.

Where as (in my opinion) LSU although run first, throws the ball more than Bama so you cant go by these stats alone.

One can also factor in the fact that GM has thrown 5 INTs to JJs 7. With four more games played than JJ. Which would mean GM is more accurate. And overall a better Qb.

LSU is an established brand and it sits in a position where they're going to land top recruits, regardless of how bad of a coach Miles might be. Saban established them as a winner and that carried on through Miles' early success.

yeah, but if bama is pass "third" offense like you say, wouldn't that leave gmac with less chances to be picked off. We can go all day. Bottom line, they are both mediocre, and we are going to beat yall.

I love how bama fans think LSU is headed south... it's SO humerus.
.
Please by all means keep believing that, i will make the shell shock the SEC receives all the more enjoyable.

I agree with that. But miles isn all that bad and if he gets rid of crowton and lands a good OC that will stay on the field and run the frickin offense, I think he has surrounded himself with good position coaches

Well that would be true but both JJ and GM have thrown 345 pass attempts a piece with GM completeing 213 to JJs 205.

Yes both are mediocre.

LSU beating Bama is debateable until Nov.

I don't like McElroy...mostly because of his attitude. I liked Barker because he won and didn't care how. McElroy has a huge ego.

True y'all have recruited great but what has that gotten you? With all that talent, Miles will find a way to mess up a game or two. I'm not commenting on the Bama game because he somehow manages to call his best game.

Will he do that?

Miles has more success than Mike Shula, but his inability to make changes might lead to him getting fired like Shula.

Humerus?

How can you not think LSU is heading south?

12-2
8-5
9-4

Not exactly a level of consistency that would lead one to believe LSU is ready to make a run at the national title. It's not only the record, but it's the lack of control or attention to simple detail such as the clock debacle at Ole Miss. It makes Les Miles look lost and incapable, regardless of what he has done in the past.

What makes you think that mcelroy has a huge ego? His attitude is fine, and his teammates love him. shite, everytime I've been around him, he has seemed like a pretty down to earth guy.

Also, anyone who would take jj over gmac is fricking dumb. Gmac is much tougher than jj and smarter, and gets the job done when he needs to. Jj has not done much of anything that would make me want him to be my team's QB.frick talent and potential, I'm basing my opinion on actual game time performance.

Did you hear, they can never take the statue into the stadium once it has been updated. The head will not fit any of the entrances. What a bitch.
