It’s over, pro teams would struggle to shake this loss off.. college kids? Zero chance, Arky is done.
You would have to go back to December 1969 in “The Shootout” game of the century on front of President Nixon, when the Texas Longhorns beat the Hogs for the National Championship on their own turf with Street to Peschel for 44 yds on 4th & 3 late in the 4th qtr.
Arky has been wandering blind in a desert of nothingness after blowing a 14 pt 4th qtr lead in front of the highest rated televised sports event in history featuring #1 vs #2 on the last regular season game in college football’s 100the season.
47 years later Arkansas football still dresses in the dark & sleeps with the lights on. You expect this team to just wipe out that tragedy in 18 hours?
Damn, the life of a sports fan can be so fricking gut wrenching brutal for most everyone but the elite.
