If you compare the original schedule for each SEC team with the actual schedule that was played, you can quickly see that every team in the SEC would have had a better final w/l record, and it's not even close.
Here is just one schedule that would have looked different:
LSU's original 2020 schedule is below. I have included projected wins for the cupcakes they would have played, plus W/L for games they did play:
UT San Antonio - W
Tex - W/L?
Rice - W
Ole Miss - W
Nicholls State - W
Florida - W
Arkansas - W
MSU - L
AL - L
South Carolina - W
Auburn - L
TAMU - L
LSU would have gone 8-4, or worst case 7-5 (if they lost to Texas).
That's not world beaters obviously, but 8-4 is much better than 5-5.
If every team in the SEC had played their original schedule, it's likely they all would have scaled up the same way since most of the games that were interchanged were cupcakes.

Its hilarious that Bama fans are too busy trying to troll LSU to even enjoy their title last night. Take a note from all the kids partying in Tuscaloosa and try to enjoy something for once.

LSU's schedule last season was artificially inflated based on playing cupcakes, *plus* their opponents w/l records were also artificially inflated by playing ooc cupcakes.

I think both teams were great. I enjoyed watching them both play but of course I enjoyed watching Bama just a tad bit more
