This kind of person will say he is overrated if he gets 150+ in every remaining game by saying that all of those defenses were soft against the run. Or if he fails to get 100 yards against even one defense, then that defense was the only decent defense he ran against.

Of course.

Ingram could end up with 2000 yards and the argument would be that Alabama never played against a legit defense.

Ingram's stiff arm was NASTY last week.

But no way he repeats for Heisman.

No actually their argument in that situation would actually be a little bit better. "He had an awesome o-line that opened up truck holes for him."

Never mind the fact that he usually gets more than half his yards after breaking tackles.

He played a whole quarter vs Dookie. Saban obviously left him in there too long trying to pad his stats.

I thought this before the season even before his injury, but after seeing him run these past two games I'm not so sure.

whoa I'm close to 5000.

I think if he rushes for 125 yards+ against UF in a win and carries the team in the process, not saying that he will, then he'll be right in the discussion.

They have all but given the thing to Kellen Moore or Pryor at this point....

OSU in NCG = Pryor wins Heisman

Not anywhere close to the same UF team as last year.

Yeah, the Gators lost their best run-support LB (Spikes), their best run-support safety (Wright), and their best tackling CB (Haden). As well as their best two DL that could get penetration from last year (Cunningham & Dunlap*). But there's no way Ingram can get 100+ against the Gators - after all, he's no Locke.

*yes, I know Dunlap wasn't in the SECCG

^This^ And, that's fine by me. Mark will just continue to do what he does. RTR

I really doubt that you are much of an authority on Heisman canadates or women.

Trent Richardson is possibly even more of a beast.

I was a believer that this was the case, but I think it's just because TR looks like such a beast. Mark Ingram runs hard, and he has more of a burst than people give him credit for. His balance is incredible as well. I obviously hate Bama, but here is to Mark Ingram

He's good but I wouldn't call anyone who quits at the most crucial time of his teams season can hardly be called "the man".

MI didn't deserve the Hiestman last year.

They may not be an OT 5 but I would put money on the fact that they're better looking than anything you've ever had.

And Please tell us who you think deserved the Heisman last year and why.

Nobody would quit in a blowout. He quit when his team desperately needed him to even be in that game.
