Just watched Kirby Smart's post scrimmage press conference and he did say something that indicated that practices would be the order of the day, and they may not scrimmage. I'm not clear on how that spells trouble, though.

No Pittman so this was to be expected.

The defense is the best in the nation. Daniel is the most talented QB in the SEC.
Offense will take some time but we should be Bama ready in 6 weeks.

No doubt our defense will still be the strength of the team. We hope our offense can improve as the year moves on and become pretty good, too.

Not sure if you've noticed by LSU had a pretty good offense last year.

Name the better defense and name the more talented QB in the SEC. It's arguable with the SEC having a poor crop of current QBs but the UGA defense is almost too abundantly loaded rn.

In all honesty, kimsey....we don't actually know what we have in JT Daniels or Dwan Mathis. Daniels did well his freshman year at USC, but was injured last season and is still hobbled.
Mathis has no game experience.
Now, I think both will be good, but we really have nothing to base it on.
The best proven QB is probably Trask of Florida. There are several highly rated young QB in the SEC and they could all pass our QBs, for all we know. I look for the Alabama QB to have a very good year. I also think Myles Brennan will have a good year and Bo Nix to show a lot of improvement.
