Because the statement he made is like the biggest argument that sens the Pigs on here off the deep end. They want to be relevant so bad and most still think they are some how.

Y'all can say this as much as you want it literally doesn't change a thing. It sure is clever though.

Sonny at Auburn and Wimp at Alabama. Those were some entertaining days and basketball excitement, believe it or not.

I cheer for the same basketball team I have cheered for since I was a little kid. It is where I grew up and it is where my mom went to school. I cheered them on through the many mediocre years of Tubby Smith and depressing years of Billy G.

Oh and how dare I cheer for my alma mater.

It is like arguing with middle schoolers on here some times.

No my NFL team has the 2nd pick in the draft and will probably blow it on fricking Jameis Winston to make me hate them more.

just interesting that you chose to root for Bama's football team, and Kentucky's basketball team specifically

The best basketball SEC jobs/programs makes good banter back and forth mainly because all the decently successful programs after Kentucky are really so close together.

There's not a single one that doesn't need an excellent (instead of "pretty good" or average) coach/recruiter to even be relevant and not one that would have many obstacles in being a consistent top 10-20 team with an excellent coach.

I cheer for everything Bama. It is just hard to be an extremely vocal Bama basketball fan when I've wanted our coach fired like 2 seasons ago.

CFB was just never really a thing growing up in Kentucky. I have zero Kentucky football memories from when I was a kid, unlike I do with the basketball team. I went to games at Rupp, attended basketball camps in Lexington, and we'd always go get to this mall in Louisville to get the player's autographs after the season. We have a bunch of tiny autographed Kentucky jerseys laying around at my parent's house.

I'm just extremely lucky that both are at the peak of their respective sports at the same time.
