Was on WNML radio this afternoon.
"I think obviously Kentucky is the best job in the league. Nobody in their right mind would argue that. Then you have Tennessee second in my mind due to the facilities, fan support and talent pool nearby. I've always thought that. You could make a case for Florida, but right now that has been just one man who has had success so it's tough to judge the program. Arkansas would be fourth but that's a program that hasn't been relevant in a really long time. Right now they are trying to get there but they are built on playing tough defense and don't play any defense. That's a job that has really lost its luster. Missouri and Vandy would be next on my list after that."
Bruce Pearl ranked them the same earlier this summer.

I would agree with this if it were 1975.

We are an attractive Hoops job believe it or not.
This season doesn't show it.

What do you disagree with? Tennessee has finished second in attendance in the SEC each of the last 9 years and been too 5 nationally 7 of those years.
Facilities are obviously very, very good.
A lot of talent in state and in ATL as well.

I didn't say it was a bad, or unimpressive job. But in 2015 I don't see it as the second best job in the SEC.

ESPN hates us. Auburn coaches love us.

We brag about being second in here now?

i've been really wondering what sonny smith thought on this subject- thank you.

Subject lines says "ranks SEC Hoops jobs 1-6" yet I only see 1-4?

I caught the end of that on the way home this afternoon.
Sonny is a trip.

I would put Florida above Tennessee for sure.
I would not put Arkansas and Missouri behind Tennessee. Maybe a tie. Maybe.

I'd go:
1. UK
2. Arkansas
3. UF
4. LSU/UT
For argument's sake Ole Miss is probaly the closest to a real "talent pool"

it's a good thing op put (former auburn coach) in the title or no one would know.
he was associated with auburn tho so i'm sure he's a pos. does that satisfy you?
