That's not really impressive considering they've only been ranked 5 times when we've played at WBS
But in 5 games nothing is more impressive than 5-0.

A bit disenginous. Both teams have only been ranked 5 times when they’ve played at WBS.

True, it's a neat little stat. It won't have any bearing on the outcome of Saturday's game though.

Also true. I don’t see the Cocks pulling this one out (heyyyoooo!).

Fair enough. This has been to civil so I'll just say frick you and go Dawgs since it's game week.

They’ve beaten 3 UGA teams at WBS under Richt during that one division title dynasty they had there for a minute.
Hey man, if SC wins on Saturday, that gives UGA 1 win in Columbia since 2008. That's no small stat.

Are you including 2008?

No.

I was just curious so I looked it up. 4 out of 5 would still be pretty impressive. Although, I feel a lot better just knowing we have a coach who doesn't fail to prepare his team. Please see LSU/Miami for an example

The latter is so rare, we seldom get the opportunity.
Yeah, SC rarely is given the benefit of an early season ranking, or in ugga bugga's case, overranking, that UGA receives.
What year was it recently, this millennium I know ... what it 2000 when #4 UGA came in loaded whith Quincey Carter and a team of 19 furture draft picks as a 21 point favorite ... and went home with their tails tucked after taking an arse whooping from Holtz and the Gamecocks?
Gamecock were just one or two games removed from the famous 21 game losing streak at the time.
Yeah, that was 2000, right? Seems like yesterday to me.
Quincy Carter, Jon Stinchcomb, Jasper Sanks, Terrance Edwards, Richard Seymore ... help me to remember some of the others on that UGA roster. Was Durrel Robinson on that Dawg squad? Tim Wansley? Hell, that ugga bugga team was absolutely loaded .... but we were ranked the next week.

Stats actually show this is false but hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good bias.

There are stats for being overrated these days?
How so?

What a shock, another Auburn fan sucking off USCe. 28-7 is the gift that keeps giving.

They take their preseason rank and compare it to their end of season rankings.

Here’s another stat: Dawgs are 2-0 vs SC under Kirby.

Auburn has won 3 out of the last 13 meetings vs UGA
So Auburn struggles against Clemson, bama, and UGA. Who else do they struggle against? Georgia Tech?
