Actually a tie is counted as half a win, which decimalizes into a .5, which leads us to Vandy's equation:

2.5 / 5 = .500

frick off, Einstein.

What are you talking about?

The 1959 season - Ole Miss played LSU in the Sugar Bowl (January 1, 1960) W 21-0

The 1963 season - Ole Miss played Alabama in the Sugar Bowl (January 1, 1964) L 7-12

Which would be the 1960 and 1964 Sugar Bowls.

Technically. Would you say LSU won the 2004 BCSCG though?

Just like Alabama last year. Won the 2012 BCS National Championship Game. But were the 2011 champions.

We've been once...and lost. Alabama lost twice in that bowl as well. Kind of glad we didn't get that bowl now.

Alabama didn't want to be there in 1998. It was cold and miserable. Virginia Tech wanted to be there and kicked our arse. We went again in 2004 against Minnesota. It was like a triage unit on the sideline. We were down to walk-ons at QB and RB.

Then they shouldn't have accepted the bid. Should have stayed home if they didn't want to be there.

That's how I feel when that is said. When you have a season where you win 6 or 7 games, just be happy you get an invite to a bowl.

The only worse OM game weather wise I've attended is the 34-0 fiasco in the rain in Fayetteville
