Honest question: WTF do you Bama fans want? We all know you're good. We acknowledge it.

Christ, some of you come across as the whiney middle sister bitch.

God forbid there is another team in the SEC worthy of being in the same sentence as Alabama.

Swap "Alabama" for "LSU" and the post would be equally valid.

You're making a mistake if you go by that stat.

I like LSU's passing vs Bama's secondary over Bama's passing vs LSU's secondary.

That's where I think it'll be determined.

LSU goes deep on the DL and especially if Wing can give LSU good field position, yeah, TR will get his yards, but I think LSU can man up against Bama's WRs.

That's PPG. I'm looking at total offense. PPG can be scewed because of D points, special teams, etc.

Nah.
There is a ton of respect here for this year's Bama team. Too much, according to some. OTOH, we've got a long October road before Tuscaloosa.

I guess these stats would be more meaningful if LSU and Alabama had played the exact same teams.

How about you go by yards per game since not everyone has played the same amount of games?

Honestly, the LSU and 'Bama fanbases mirror one another as much as the two teams do. There are elements which respect the other team and are anticipating the game, there is the retarded homer element which thinks that the other team stands no chance ("HONEY BADGER, BITCH!") and then there are obnoxious assholes who respond with either last year's score or the Julio catch from '09 just to troll.

I guarantee that even after the game ends, the crying will begin, no matter who wins. It's like having a toilet which you can't flush.

The OP forgot to add in the "number of screwed calls by refs" in his statistics. If you think I'm joking go back and look at past games in BD (most notably, the blown INT with PP#7 in 2009). Don't give me the "Bama is more disciplined line either). There will be three blown/missed calls on Bama which will decide a defininf drive. Happens all the time.

To state the obvious, LSU is going to have a very hard time walking out of BDS with a win.

NAH...WE'LL BE ALRIGHT,...gonna put that HONEY BADGER ON YOUR arse...

Sure bama has a plus one margin and lsu has a plus 9. Interesting though that without the Kent state and north Texas games we would have a plus 7 Margin with no turn overs.

Why you want to start ommitting games to fit your stats record?...you people...NOV 5..

FIFY

Alabama's game plan is to pound the rock and wear down opponents.

The problem with this strategy is that LSU's DL is much deeper than UA's OL. And our DL has played a lot better than UA's OL has this year, and against a tougher schedule to boot. And the converse is true as well, LSU's OL > UA's DL.

In fact, LSU is deeper than UA at every position on the field except for LB. And UA is the only team in the conference who can even say that.

LSU will win in BDS this year. Book it.

Well - you've backed yourself into a corner. If LSU loses what will you do?

Agree with damn near all uh that. I am at ease knowing that when we play Bama, every fan, player, and commentator in the country deep down know that these two teams are as good as it gets in damn near every facet. Thank gawd arky doesn't have a team like Bama. I wouldn't be able to read this site. For the most part the rational Bama and LSU fans all agree it will be a battle and the winner will probably have the support of the losing fanbase for the title run. I will be highly pissed but if we can't win it, I wanna get beat by the team that does.
