prior to the season I would have counted this as a near-gimme with UT being a really close tossup but I feel the opposite now. We should be able to handle UT but it woulnd't surprise me at all to leave oxford with a loss.

Same here. This is the first time all year that I think we'll lose. Along those same lines I think that we'll handle Tennessee. Ain't nobody beating Georgia in a night game in Sanford Stadium until further notice. Hasn't happened yet since Kirby got here, and it won't start with Tennessee.

My biggest concern as an ole miss fan...other than Beck showing up and playing out of his mind...is GA Dline making us one dimensional then T'ing off on Dart like they did Texas. We're down to our 4th string rb who's prob not even on schools and I've never heard of him.

So a repeat of last year basically. Ive seen nothing from Ole Miss to suggest they have overcome the 52-17 gap since last year.

I can see a lot that says this game will be much different than last season. First and foremost, this UGA squad is not as good as last year, while the Rebels are vastly improved despite 2 losses already. Georgia will not dominate the line of scrimmage when they have the ball, like last season. Double digit tackles for loss have become routine for this Ole Miss defense, snd opposing QBs are sacked with alarming regularity. Most of the intangibles favor Ole Miss. and I expect to see Dart in the victory formation as the final seconds tick off

Texas thought UGA wouldn’t dominate the LOS either. Ole Miss will experience a similar seal clubbing.

With the standard beck handicap of 3 turnovers it's going to be a tough test.

Based on what I've seen out of UGA, unless we hand them points with turnovers or special teams, they won't score more than 20. If Ole Miss can crack their D for 24 or more, they win.

After watching Ole Miss dismantle us in pretty much every phase of the game last week it's hard not to pick them here.

But I think we've seen a different version of Georgia since the loss to 'Bama.
Both teams have a ridiculously high ceiling when they are firing on all cylinders.

It's a toss up. I think Rebels CAN win but Georgia is on alert. Ought to he one heck of a game.

Which is why I said what I said. It was actually a compliment. I know that y’all aren’t used to that but let it sink in - OM has a really good team. Y'all should be worried about Georgia’s OL though. You’re not going to win a game of bully ball if they get you playing that way. Same as they aren’t going to win in a passing shootout.

Concur. It’d be awesome to see this go to multiple OTs
