NET and KenPom.

Also, no way CBS would allow a 1st round Duke vs UK matchup.

It's beautiful. Also gimme Mizzou/Kansas and A&M/Houston in the 2nd round.

CBS is not going to get rid of their cash cows in the first round. Maybe Sweet 16 matchups.

If both of you are in the 7-10 range you'll definitely be spread. If they can't have you guys as the big ticket the next best thing is to set you up against a #1/#2 seed in the 2R (and not against Kansas).

I'd bet my life on Duke being opposite us or Houston if they stay in the #8/9 range.

Plus, Mizzou has a lot of work to do...they are currently ranked 50 in the NET.

Serious question from a basketball illiterate. How is Mizzou a higher seed when A&M has beat them twice? I know, we had our struggles early on but don’t head to head matchups count for anything?

They won't, aTm is currently ranked 29 on the NET.

SOGgy Bracketology is way off on Mizzou and aTm.

Missouri has a pretty easy finish (vs State, @ UGA, @ LSU, vs Ole Miss). If they win out they'll be 23-8 (11-7) with 4 Q1 wins and a 19-0 record vs Q2-4. Lose any of those, though, and it's a little more white knuckle.

If Auburn doesn't win 1 of @ Kentucky, @ Bama, vs Tennessee (in addition to Ole Miss at home)......they're gonna have a nervous Sunday.

NET isn't everything and the committee has shown that.

A&M was #36 in the NET last year and didn't even make the tournament.

Creighton was #51 in the NET and was a #9 seed.

Rutgers was #80 in the NET and got into the play-in game.

No, not really. We beat UGA 2x in the last 10 days of the season back in 2012 and they were the last team in and we were the first team out.

And that's why you are a #7-11 seed everywhere instead of a #3-4 seed. Your OOC was horrid.

Mizzou has 0 Q2-4 losses

A&M has 3 Q2-4 losses (2 of them Q4 losses)

Mizzou has 8 Q1/2 wins

Texas A&M has 7 Q 1/2 wins

They are basically the same in terms of quality of record.

We beat Missouri once that game won’t be easy for them

Sure but it's a home game and then their last 3 is the easiest finish in the conference (UGA, LSU, Ole Miss). Combine that together and it's about as easy a league finish as you could ask for.

With that said, they looked like they hit a wall the last 2 games. And an ending schedule like that also means if you lose to LSU/UGA/OM.....you might be in trouble.

If they somehow beat a #9 and then a #1 seed, yea. But the game vs a #1 seed wouldn't be in KC.

I said this about Auburn 2 weeks ago. They are dangerously close to being NIT bound
