I'll be over the moon if we send 7. Good for aTm. Got hot as hell when it mattered.

Not sure how A&M could get left out at this point. Would be a travesty.

4 Q1 wins, 9-9 vs Q1/Q2, 0 Q4 losses, 10-7 away from home

Yes, Tennessee getting ousted in the elite 8 isn’t the worst thing there is.

And holy shite gimme that region. TCU for the sweet 16? A discombobulated LSU for the Elite 8? Baylor for the Final 4? I'll gladly take that.

Been underrated all year. Little to no tape on them. Almost as if they don't exist.

Lunardi still has them out, but I agree with you.

Wouldn't be upset about some KU vs UT in the E8 by any means

Xavier, Rutgers, SMU and Michigan ahead of them at this point is just plain silliness.

Hell Notre Dame has 4 Q1 and Q2 wins COMBINED. They have 17 Q3/4 wins. Total joke.

I think he finally caved. He’s a dumbass. I’d be shocked if they weren’t in at this point.

Honestly they are one of those teams where it wouldn't shock me if they end up a 9 or 10 seed. Their resume is better up and down than a whole lot of the bottom 4-8 teams everyone lists. Solid wins up top, very few bad losses, quantity of wins, etc.

Needed to.

I mean I get not falling for recency bias, but don't swing the pendulum too far. aTm has earned their spot with their recent play in spite of the awful stretch of play mid-season.

Notre Dame has no chance IMO.

And even that stretch in which they scuffled and lost 9 of 10, 7 of those losses were Kentucky, @ Arkansas, @ LSU, @ Tennessee, LSU, @ Auburn, @ Vanderbilt.

They deserve to be in after this run the last few days. I haven't kept up with the other conference tournaments the way that I have with ours, but their last 3 wins have to be some of the most impressive in the country.

The committee won’t want to create provisional brackets that have/don’t have A&M if they don’t have to. If a “tie-breaker” is needed between A&M and another team, the difference will be that A&M is still playing when they’re filling out the bracket.

Lunardi is just realizing how fricking dumb he was for saying that they had to win the whole tournament and he’s trying to back track lol.

Yep. They've won 7 straight, and even more specifically 4 of their last 5 games have been games in which they dominated for almost the entire game NCAAT or NCAAT hopeful teams away from their home gym (@ Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas).

They're playing great ball.
