Obviously, UF attempted to work something out with LSU, but Alleva overplayed his hand.

Naturally, being the bigger fish in the SEC, Foley is now playing a high-stakes game of Chicken with Joe Alleva.

And we know Joe will blink.

Keep saying that until you believe it.

I'm waiting for LSU to forfeit instead of travelling to G'ville.

What hand was there to overplay? Y'all play here, use our stadium. Uf said no. What other negotiation would there be? Not allowing Florida to bring the band sent Foley on a rampage, huh?

Pussed out of what? Playing in front of 40k fans?

I'm not blaming LSU fans for that, but if you think they're scared to play in TS when at most they'll have 40-50k...I don't know what to tell you lol

Yeah, Alleva is gonna give up a home game so UF doesn't give up there's. Alleva may as well turn in his papers on the 18th

I'm thinking LSU pays UF a pretty penny for the privilege to host us.

And 2017 in the Swamp.

That's the fans' decision on whether they can make it to Gainesville safely.

Indeed. It doesn't benefit LSU at all. Only keeping the game as-is benefits, if any. The ball is in UF's court. Louisiana people are just trying to remind Gator fans of the weather conditions for fans' sake.

If what I'm reading this correct, there's predictions of 130 wind in gville. If it's anywhere near that, there's no game. Maybe that's not correct. After all, this is a message board.

Are Gator fans going to demand McEldouche resigns when the SEC makes them forfeit for not being able to play the game this weekend?

This has zero to do with fans or the teams. Fans can stay home. No prob. Teams will be taken care of. No prob. By y'all just don't get it. There was lines of emergency response personnel heading through BR today heading for Florida from tx to help out. But UF is gonna take their assets away from more important shite for a football game. I can't speak for the rest of my fanbase but I think it ridiculous that they're even attempting this. The only reason we're adamant about playing here is because it's a simple fix and it assures the game is played on its scheduled date and doesn't screw up the logistics of the rest of the season. Sure, it sucks for y'all. But it is what it is. See LSU/ASU 05
