Texas struggles with dual threat QBs. Gabriel ran all over yall last year so I expect a 4.4 Hawkins to do the same

we will drop a game or two like most. It's all about making the playoffs. I never thought we'd go undefeated and I still don't. Too many good teams in this league.
It's not the end of the world....unless we lose to okie. I hate losing to okie. You'd think I would have gotten used to it when stoops was there.

We will see. The Texas defense is noticeably more gap sound this year. I think the rule changes to allow the analysts to also coach players helped the Longhorns solidify. That and the hire of Johnny Nansen, co-DC and inside LB coach.

Texas is the best team in the country and is head and shoulders better than anyone else. Just look who they have beaten already. They have the stats to back it up.
OU and UGA don’t look like they are ready. Even though they are more battle tested, they don’t have near the same amount of hype… and that matters the most.

Then we just destroyed and crushed the dreams of Mizzou who came in Top 10 and with a veteran QB and the best WR in CFB. We have 5 SEC games left and all of them favor us. Still we have to execute and play every week like an underdog because that's the SEC and if you don't you can just look at what happened to Bama and UT last weekend.

Now you get to play 7 straight SEC games, this isn't the Big 12. No one respects you here, you have earned nothing. Hype means dogshit. Hell playing OU is probably your 2nd easiest game right now after UF at home (and you best not take that one for granted either, that team has a lot of talent). You are going to have to run a physical gauntlet against some teams that really want to put you in your place as well. UGA and playing at Arky are particularly dangerous. Very physical and talented teams that have a lot to play for and you get to play in Fayetteville.
Win a few SEC games that matter and get back to us, in the meantime you haven't done shite.

If you think you hate losing to Okie wait until you lose to aggy. Okie loss stings for a day or two. Aggy loss is the gift that keeps giving all year. It's just been a while since we played so it's going to be fun to remind you of that.

The horns are stuck comparing themselves to A&M for all eternity. They are playing with bad juju mocking teams that have lost conference games, and trying to force people to respect them for their soft schedule, bc of how they performed last year. College football isn’t a continuation of last year, and they don’t get that.
