This may sound crazy but I would ask Saban if he wants to coach the season out. Pay him a couple million while whoever the new coach is works on recruiting

Wasn’t Saban publicly calling for letting Lane stay through the playoffs even if he took the LSU job? They may not be super high on him right now. But we are in unknown territory so who knows
