Did you think we would be top 10 last year?
Auburn fans are funny.

Who did Arkansas play, BTW?
Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M and South Carolina are the only SEC teams that played someone worth a shite in week 1. It's weird though, I mainly see Tennessee and Arkansas fans talking shite about the performances of other teams.

You weren't against Auburn, so we were pretty spot on.

Let's wait until the end of the season to say who was good or not. Bobby Petrino still coaches that team, and he rarely has a team that ends the season with anything other than a winning record and bowl appearance.

Arkansas played a bowl team from last year. I've seen much more shite talked from ole miss fans than Arkansas fans
We have no idea how Louisville is. Its a preseason ranking, just like all of our rankings.

It was evident JJ wasn't comfortable in his role and was forcing plays. I'm sure it will speed up as the season progresses, but regardless, AU doesn't run many more plays than your average team, that's just the misconception.

The Louisville D was pretty stout but not great. AU will see better defenses starting with LSU...so JJ better take his meds or get some glasses or something.

Sunday morning ESPN radio interview with JJ - he said "Louisville is probably the best D we'll play all year." He sounded pleased that the worst part of the season was behind him.

He also had some really good throws that had great timing and hit his receivers.
I think he'll settled down and get straightened out eventually. I'm just not sure there's enough time to get straight with LSU's hostile environment only 2 weeks away.

My perception was that AU more or less lines up fast on first down or short yardage situations. They tend to look more "normal" in your typical second and third situations.
Of course, I don't watch enough AU games to get a good feel for that. I could be way off.

Whew...for a minute, I thought I saw a pretty good Bama team the other night...but based on your analysis, and I have no reason to doubt, we have nothing to worry about in the West.
You don't honestly believe that Louisville has the same talent level or depth that Alabama has, do you?

Sorry. I couldn't resist.

Who would think that? No reason to insult Louisville by suggesting that.

Oh God no. You missed the point. I was responding to a guy that was making the case that Louisville's D was no good because they had to replace a bunch of players (although 3 of the replacements would probably start or at least be in the 2 deep at every single SEC school). By his rationale (because Bama has replaced a lot of players too), Bama is no good and we've got nothing to worry about. My way of saying his logic was VERY flawed.

Apparently Robert Duval does.

When your QB throws it to the other team, it limits your number

3 ints take away a lot of plays, not to mention their first two scores came on a short drive of 4 plays after a int returned to the 25 and the second was a fumble recovery returned for a TD. Add all of that up and there is 20 - 25 plays at least they missed out on.
