Damn, that’s quite the spin.
To put it succinctly, your coach will likely have 8 losses in two years with arguably the most talented roster in college football.
Comparatively, Nick had that amount in his last 6 seasons with similarly built teams.

I love Deboer at bama
He will win just enough for them to keep him there without winning the whole thing

You said Alabama fires coaches who don’t win titles after three years.
If you go back to 1926, a span of 100 years and 13 coaches, that happened ONE time. It happened to the worst coach in Alabama history after a going 4-24-2.
When you find yourself in a hole, the best thing to do is put down the shovel.
And if you are going to give credit to Shula for having a championship contending team if not for injuries, you have to do the same for Deboer. He just played in the SEC championship game and is in the CFP. That certainly qualifies as contending. Not having Jam Miller (and Cuevas and Overton) was a huge blow Saturday. In the 4 games Miller has missed this year, Alabama is 2-2.
You were wrong, got called on it, and now are contorting yourself sidewalk, I mean sideways, trying to explain it away.

Alabama fans can't decide whether Kiffin will be a massive failure or jump to Bama, even though they also insist he sucks.

A Gump fight.

2025 Roster Composite Ranking
Alabama is 2nd, behind Georgia. LSU is 6th.
LSU is likely going to have 10 losses in 2 seasons with the 6th most talented roster in college football. The whole roster talent angle is not a winning strategy for an LSU fan. You guys have had a top 6 roster for two years in a row and can’t even finish ranked in the top 25.

Damn.
They should definitely fire that coach.

Hell y'all are still salty over Saban leaving in what 2004?

This season LSU will finished unranked for the fourth time in the past six seasons.
Blue blood indeed.
Kiffin should at least finished ranked in the top 25 half the time, so he will be a huge upgrade.

DeBoer is about to have 8 losses in 2 seasons . And 4 of those are to very bad unranked teams
Brian Kelly never even had 8 losses in 2 seasons.
That’s a legit concern

Literally nobody has made such an absurd prediction. Regardless, this thread is about DeBoer not Kiffin.

Do you ride the short bus?
LSU fired Kelly for this very reason. You're making my argument for me.
Seriously, you do know Alabama will do the same should the Tide have a similar season next year?

Most of them are so busy worrying about LSU's coach that they haven't even realized this.

The gumps are in incredible and delusional bunch - Deboer is an absolute boob of a coach - he whines constantly on the sidelines and constantly looks absolutely confused as shiite - the conspicuous drop off in the Alabama program is just two years is remarkable - he will be gone one way or another within two years

This isn't DeBoers last 6 seasons. These are his first 2 seasons and thinking Saban is normal is why the rest of college football is fricked up.
There is a difference between being a talented player and being an elite player. An elite player is a talented player who got developed. That is what Saban did, took talented players and made them elite. Another way to see this difference is - a talented play will make plays, but are often inconsistent. An elite player can't get it wrong and are consistent.
And elite players were becoming more and more limited at Alabama because since they added NIL, development isn't what players care about as much anymore. And that's happening everywhere.
Not to mention these are the same players that made Saban say frick it, not worth it and retired. You pretend like DeBoer inherited 2015 Alabama, but I'm not that dumb.

O, he’s on the hot seat right now and when we get beat out of the playoffs without even making it to the natty it will get even hotter.

He’s Les Miles and maybe not even as good.
I think the difference is that Nick left a stable of athletes when he went to the NFL and LSU was at the pinnacle of college football.
We had started to slide the last couple of years under Saban in my opinion. We were still in contention be we had obviously lost a step or two and didn’t look like the Alabama that we had all grown accustomed to!
Just my opinion!
