John Cohen says South Carolina hosted because of the full body of work -- and 8 wins vs. Top 8 seeds.

You may have a point but you have to also admit that SCAR was absolutely punished for being a host. If they come out of that regional they absolutely deserved to host.

combined wins for the 3 other teams in host regionals -

125 Oklahoma St
119 Wake Forest
118 Alabama & Pickens Tech
116 Kentucky
115 Arkansas & Carolina

I'm thinking a few other schools got punished a little more than USC. Campbell is good. I'm okay with the fact they only played 6 games out of 57 against P5 teams. 3-3 record.

the regional that has Tennessee as a 2 seed probably got the worst draw -

LSU's regional has 3 teams combined for 96 wins - the least of the 16 hosts.
