Read it and weep, Gump...Saban was always uncomfortable at Bama...you were an entitled buch of bandwagoneers. The truth hurts, but it's still the truth...if you can read go read it for yourself.

Ha! This is exactly what we need more of, keep them coming

He hated Bama so much he made his career there and turned into the GOAT while he was in Tuscaloosa. They hated it so much he’s still there.

we should keep an eye on jimbo for this one.

This is probably said in jest because Jimbo failed so spectacularly at A&M. But he is a good coach and has a deep history with the state and could be a good coach for LSU.

But, LSU needs someone younger that understands where the game is now.

It wasn’t because it was LSU, it was because it was college ball, which he preferred. He loves it at Alabama, always has, especially because the program and community cares about football as much as he does.

Btw, he won NCs at twice the rate at Alabama as he did at LSU. Why wouldn’t he love it?

I mean realistically many of us really knew this was bs - well maybe not exactly many - but more than a handful, But damn- wish it would have lingered longer - takes away the fun when insane rumors die quickly.

And yall keep joking we will get jimbo- don’t be shocked if we end up with frank wilson.

I won't be surprised at all if Wilson is chosen. In fact, promoting Ausberry makes it that much more likely.

Miss Terry’s not gonna let him.

The fact that none of these TV talking heads and media types who speculate about a Saban return to LSU ever mention this shows you how little they actually grasp about this situation.

And this is also why virtually no Bama fan who has been paying attention since 2007 ever has been the least been concerned that they might go back to LSU.

Saban's retirement process started with Miss Terry asking him, "Why are we doing this?" because of the rise of NIL. The Sabans aren't returning to coaching.

Do you seriously think every LSU fan bought into that ? As I've said in other post. No sane LSU fan thought Saban was coming to LSU. I also didn't think Lane would go to LSU over Florida if offered. No state income tax in Florida was my reasoning.

Ausberry told Matt Moscona on ESPN Baton Rouge that he talks to Saban regularly and gets the sense the legendary coach will not coach again.

Shocking.

Yep..Saban has stated time and again, while was at Alabama, that he should have never left LSU

No.

What he said was the biggest mistake he ever made was leaving LSU for the NFL.

He knows the best decision he ever made was leaving the NFL for Alabama.

So he stayed at Alabama for 17 years when he could've jumped to LSU twice during that time period?

The same Alabama program where he currently has an office, has part of the stadium named after him, a statue outside the stadium and gets paid $500K a year as a university employee?

You fricking idiot.
