Do you think Leo is intelligent? If the answer is obvious, then why are you asking why he did this stupid arse shite?

Why would he have voluntarily done that if he had taken money from State?
I posed 4 simple scenarios to make a point. And yet zero points have been made, just silly herp-derps and colston 12 expressing dismay at the whole thing.
Oh, and the LSU and Bama fan being understandably tired of our BS

I do believe Linton. I believe Leo asked Mullen and he probably told him to tell the truth to the best of his ability. Seems like a pretty likely scenario and the best course of action.

Mullen sent his star LB to meet with the NCAA after paying him
He didn't. The ncaa came to leo and leo went to mullen.
quote:once again, he/they didn't.
-Mullen/MSU sent Leo to meet with the NCAA without university representation along side
quote:
MSU legal representation sat quietly by and let Leo testify that MSU had broken rules and paid him money
I didn't know Leo's attorney was MSU's legal rep.
quote:
MSU representation allowed ANY question of Leo that did not solely involve Ole Miss, since this was an OM investigation
same as above.

The fantastic irony of all of this is that State just signed their own death warrant.

the way i read it Lewis didn't approach NCAA, it was the other way around.

That's the way I read it also. And, he did lie the NCAA, per the OM Response. He first told them that OM didn't pay him. Then they showed him the text message from Booster to Barney. OM sites claim that this proves that he's not a trustworthy source

I read the article today from Godfrey. Based on the leaked testimony, it really doesn't look like Lewis sought them out, or lied on them. Doesn't look like he tried to make it sound worse than it was at OM and he was honest on other schools offering too.

I'm still waiting for something not written by an ole miss alum or said by ole miss reporters to come out before I even entertain the thought of us being in trouble. The only time I hear about us getting in trouble is when someone from ole miss writes it or says it. Yup totally credible.

Whatever gets you through the night.

It's done. It's over. Msu gets the death penalty. OM absolved of all wrong doing. Campus is bulldozed and one giant strip mall is erected in its place. Every unit has jet black tinted windows and pressure point diagrams because the only businesses are Asian massage parlours meant to service freeze and every generation after him for time immemorial. This is really it, baws.

So Mullen advised Leo to tell the NCAA that MSU paid him too? cause that's what he told them...

If you read the article, when asked the question, his council asked to go off the record, and then when they came back on the record he said yes, state paid him. Mullen was not there. That was something the ncaa/his own council advised him on doing.

That was a fact. Glad I can help

Nah knowing my team can actually play for a bowl game this year gets me through the night.

Yet Dan Wolken, who's had an anti-Ole Miss lean going back to his time at the Commercial Appeal in Memphis and who notably hates Hugh Freeze over some bullshite dating back to Briarcrest, should be entertained? Godfrey's an Ole Miss alumnus, yes, and obviously he has reason to want to paint Ole Miss in a better light, but he's also been extremely critical of Ole Miss during this whole process. Regardless of what happens, the NCAA is a corrupt farce, and rooting for the NCAA just because they're hellbent on taking out Ole Miss opens a can of worms State may or may not have to face
But yeah, all this deflection is hilarious. Shoe's on the other foot, etc.
