This has zero to do with the sign stealing case.

Thank you... that is still to come..it will conclude this year...and coaches up north are in the ears of Michigan recruits and will be scouting Michigan for players in winter portal..

It's gonna be glorious...crow all.you want about Bama..( rightfully so I might add) but tOSU University is a big political force in the NCAA (like Bama..but up north) and this is NOT GOING AWAY without some pain...almost all of the B1G wants Michigan punished..this is not over

Didn't their Head coach miss about six games last year? That's a pretty big punishment.

No, the NCAA hasn't ruled on that yet.
This week's sanctions was for Covid restrictions. Michigan admitted to and settle with the NCAA last year, Jim Harbaugh refused so the NCAA finally ruled on him.

Reminds me of when my football coach/ principal was supposed to paddle me outside of the history classroom for being disrespectful.

He instructed me to act in pain when I walked back in and then he paddled the bottom of his shoe for sound effect.

An Alabama fan whining about someone getting away with cheating?

Irony so thick you could cut it with a knife.

quote:

Do you mean the way they punished Nick Saban and Alabama for buying teams year after year? New cars and cash for the order of the day? Recruits would post the pics on Facebook the day after they signed?

Or are you talking about the NCAA where Mark Emmert ran cover for his buddy Nick Saban, while going after other schools for minor infractions?

We know you Bammers miss the day where Alabama was allowed to get away with things no other school could attempt.

Says OP whining about cheating is ironic (even though op is not whining about cheating)

Proceeds to whine profusely about Bama "cheating" (even though nothing he is saying is at all a fact)

I'm not complaining, whining, or proposing anything. I'm just saying that if the NCAA is handing out punishment to prevent others from cheating, this isn't it. Just close shop and call it a day since no one has actually been punished. They kneecapped Alabama prior to Shula arriving but those days are apparently over, for better or worse..

It's a pretty severe punishment considering they haven't gotten to the sign stealing stuff yet.

It's unlikely Harbaugh will ever coach in college football again.

The booster, Logan Young, was then murdered, likely at the behest of Tennessee booster Roy Adams.
_________________________________________________________

That's a strong accusation to put on a sports board when

1) Roy Adams was not considered a suspect

2) The death was ruled an accident, not a murder by anyone

All we know for sure is that Phil Fulmer was not directly involved because a salad was present at the scene of the crime.

I think with North Carolina, the Tarhill basketball program got caught on the bogus classes, so Tarhill football was the one punished for it

my 2nd grade teacher did that for me, she paddled her purse instead

also, I was in love with her - I was 7, she was probably 28, I think it could have worked

Agreed, it is...but only the last 3 were for the sign stealing scandal...& as you know..was imposed by the B1G. I expect the NCAA to act..and from the investigation leaks..(ie the confirmation it was Connor Stallions in disguise...and them essentially ignoring his confession that he acted alone without any knowledge of the staff)...seem to be heading to that. I expect a postseason ban of at least one year...and some of the lesser coaches to have a punishment of some kind...not a severe..but not just a slap on the wrist...this was on the field cheating..and covering it up...not giving a recruit a bag of cash.

This is nothing to do with the cheating. this is just recruiting violations.

Michigan will probably have to vacate all of 2021 and 2022.

Going to be very interesting to see what they do with 2023.

The sign stealing case is still pending. That punishment was for recruiting violations, dumbass.
