Not to mention the vaccine doesn’t even appear to prevent the spread of the virus and seemingly only lasts 6 months or so. This is nothing more than a virtue signal to present the appearance they care about the safety of the fans. If that was actually a concern, they would be holding an event with 100k people. I also don’t feel like anyone should feel compelled to make medical decisions they don’t agree with to participate in basic society.

You realize that LSU fans can't be satisfied... right? If you're vaccinated, then just show them your card. If not and you have no intention to do so, then get tested before the game. People assume that the risk isn't there and it is.

If it's so risky, they shouldn't be holding max capacity football games. They either need to let people assume their own risks or not host sporting events

What if that person is covid positive?
The only people that will be able to spread the virus at Tiger Stadium will be "vaccinated". All others will be covid negative per their negative test results. But the LSU admin does not care about this.
Any covid positive cases that will derive from game attendance will be from "vaccinated" people but the un-"vaccinated" will get blamed.

Vanderbilt is the only other SEC school that I could see doing this. It's an abomination what has happened to LSU

You shouldn't have to prove you aren't sick to go to an event

So let one person that is knowingly positive decide they don't care about anyone but themself go to a game without any restrictions and see what happens.

At that point, a lot of people here would get what they really want and want to claim "I told yah"!!
