So does LSU. That was LSUs offensive staff on full display last night.

According to rebel faithful LSUs OC Charlie Jr has been the play caller last couple of years.

Lane Kiffin averaged 7.7 wins per season at Ole Miss in his three seasons without Pete Golding.
Lane Kiffin averaged 10.7 wins per season at Ole Miss in his three seasons with Pete Golding.
What if LSU hired the wrong Ole Miss coach?

How many points you think om would have scored on UGA without the LSU offensive staff leading the way? NOT enough to beat the dawgs that's fo sure

Non-LSU fans are really setting themselves up for a real meltdown in the next few seasons once it becomes "Pete's program".
He's riding the "disrespect" wave right now. Once that dies down and Lane's players, offensive coaches, and structure are replaced, what does he have exactly that makes him an elite coach? We saw the awful clock management last night.

All of you terrified SEC tards are reaching so hard and it's quite pathetic..OM was irrelevant before Kiffin and that's why yall are all so mad...will bookmark all this for this time next year and we will all see who was actually melting and who got the real real architect of this OM team.

You really think golding is what got Trinidad, Lacy and all those WRs to oxford? What a MAROON

LSU don't need no stinking DC. Got one of the best already. Golding is a prime example of starting the game on 3rd base.

I have a really good friend who's a physician in St. Johns County that could help you.

Ole Miss could be Indiana right now if not for hot yoga.

Kiffin blew a 9 point lead against Georgia in the 4th quarter.
Golding came back from being down 9 points, and did it despite some really terrible calls by the refs late in the game.

Agreed.
Props to Joe Judge for finding Chambliss.
Wasn't it actually Charlie Weis Jr though?

It was both. They were looking through Twitter together and found the film. Anything otherwise is dipshit message board posturing.

LANE BUILT THIS TEAM!!
Yall literally could've just taken Charlie Weis Jr and saved some money

This ESPN article seems to suggest that Weis Jr "found" him then spoke with Judge about him.
Splitting hairs at that point though.
Splitting hairs at that point though.
quote:
The day the spring transfer portal opened for Division II football players in April, Ole Miss co-offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. was glued to the computer screen in his office, watching highlights of then-Ferris State quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.
When Weis wanted to confirm that he was really seeing what he thought he was seeing, he called in quarterbacks coach Joe Judge.
quote:
Then, just to make sure they were both right about Chambliss' ability, they brought in co-offensive coordinator/tight ends coach Joe Cox for further confirmation.
"We better get Coach Kiffin," one of them said.

LSU fans often confuse high paid with high quality.
Last season Baker gave up 42 to Alabama, 38 to TAM, 33 to USCe, 31 to Baylor, 27 to USC, and 27 to Florida. Four opponents scored more than 30.
This season Baker gave up 49 to TAM, 38 to Houston, 31 to Vandy. Three opponents scored more than 30.
This season LSU ranked 23rd in the country in points allowed per game and 27th in the country in yards allowed per game.
High paid? Yes Baker is. Great? Not based on what he has done so far.
