I
Yes. in a heartbeat.
I think OSU would be a pushover for Bama.
If it's LSU OSU in the big game it won't be close.
May not even be close if Bama has the shot at u guys.

am personally of the opinion that Bama is the second best team in the country. Given the opportunity, would they be willing to play a one loss OSU (or similar one loss team) to prove it? Honest question.

If bama had to go on the road and eek out a win against the number two team in what would be called a defacto national championship game, you wouldn't want a rematch either. I feel confident lsu could beat bama in the dome, but it would be a toss up. It's not fair that we have to play an extra game and beat you twice to be called champions. I think most lsu fans feel like nov 5th was for all the marbles and it's fricked up that bama could win by 1 in the Bcscg and still get the trophy after losing at home

OK..im in the "LSU VS BAMA" camp for the BCSNC game...cause i think they are the two best teams...
But are you saying you think Bama would SPANK LSU in New Orleans in a rematch?

I'm in for playing bama again, but they should make it a double header; best out of 3 games..

Logic is still the same. You can't say it is OK in one case and not the other. UT lost the SEC championship because they had to play a team they had already beaten.

Losing is a hard pill to swallow when your heart is set on a hopeful victory. The Arkansas razorbacks football fans worked them self up into believing that they had a 50-50 chance at defeating this years LSU football team. LSU very deep rich talent depth was simply always just to much for them to over come. This 2011 college football season belongs to LSU/Alabama. Hands down...This LSU football team has come this far,12-0 regular season.
Bama is really the only other college football team that can beat them. So why not. Lets finish it big time.

apologize for some of our fans who are pussies and afraid to play Bama again. They dont represent the majority.
and if the game had ended in alabama's favor, we'd have a lot of those same fans.
if there were an incredible team waiting in the wings to play lsu, i'd be all for it. but there's not.

I don't wanna hear all offseason how Bama got screwed
OSU has not got a chance at LSU yet. I really don't see Bama's argument if OSU wins the Big 12.

So if the Saints and the Texans make it to the Superbowl...we should just cancel the Superbowl and give the trophy to the Saints since they won a close game in the Superdome against the Texans earlier in the season? Why should the Saints have to play the Texans again?
This is a stupid argument

Oklahoma wins in bedlam and Bama goes to BCSCG in New Orleans. Bet Bama plays field position this time around and does a better job against the option. Will still be a close game due to LSU's superiority in the kicking game.
Les likely to have a trick or two saved up for Nick. Nick knows he better get her done in January cause he will be on the short end of the talent for the next couple meetings.

Anybody that says that 11-1 Ok State doesn't at least have a shot if Va Tech loses a game is crazy.
All they would need is 25% of voters to choose the Big12 champs over a team that didn't win their division and already lose to LSU. Any reasonable person would say that is at least possible.

No, the opposite.
But not really saying either, just saying LSU looks strong enough to beat anyone.

Fair enough.
Consider (theoretically) we play each other and LSU dominates in a win. We have the "other" one loss conference champion (whoever it may be) complaining that they should have gotten the chance (ala USC) and another "split" national championship controversy.
Just something to consider.

The NFL has a playoff system; CFB does not. You keep making NFL comparisons when they aren't valid

So it looks like a rematch is in order
It looks like a rematch may indeed happen but it is definately NOT in ORDER . You had your chance and lost at home. Time for the next team to try!
