I didn't really buy that to start with. Any news on that situation?

I hope he doesn't opt out. He's been one of my favorite players over the last 3 years. But, this would be a terrible look.

Same. Not even sure what the point would be this late in the season.

If he has any kind of competitive edge how could he not want to play bama next week? I hope he sticks it out. I won't be mad if he skips a bowl game, it will be crappy and undeserved anyway.

Someone floated the idea that he may have already had workouts scheduled with NFL prep guys for after the A&M game.

I hope so. I’m not sure if Bama has much of a chance, if he plays.

He probably doesn’t want to see anymore teammates humiliated by the big dumb animal on the sideline.

How does that make any sense I will be surprised if we don’t beat y’all by 30 plus points.

I would if I were him. We’re gonna get absolutely destroyed by Bama

Might not be as bad as you think. I was impressed with LSU's D last night (although Mond had a lot to do with that)

Looks like he really is "opting out"

He previously said he wasn’t going to opt out. Then the SEC rescheduled the Bama game. Now he gone.

It's worse than that. He asked to speak to the team and used the fact that could have opted out but didn't in an attempt to get the other guys to buy in and play better.

Possibly just trying to protect his draft stock. Bama has a couple of really good lock-down corners that he would be matched up against. I would imagine he's doubting his QBs' ability to get him the ball in tight spaces.

Mac Jones would’ve thrown for 400+ last night

I hope not.

I have no problem with guys opting out, but doing so now would be awful awful optics. Hope someone talks him out of it.

Not as bad as I think as in 29-0 opposed to 45-0?

Biggest bitch move of all time. I hope NFL scouts see this and hold it against him. That’s some total pussy shite.

Yes he’s a fricking pussy arse quitter who’s scared to compete against the top two SEC teams. The way I see it, if he was able to pull his own weight against Bama and Florida even in losing efforts, his draft stock is up but now he’s labeled as a decent talent with injury history who quit on his team after finding out they were playing the Tide next. frick him
