Actually, I've never said that. I've been very pro-Mizzou all season. This will be my last response to you, I'm above you.

You have been quite complimentary. I actually suggested we draft you for the Mizzou board but there's not really that much exciting going on there. Good luck against Bama. And I apologize for some of our, ahem, exuberance.

After the Arkansas Game the cocks said they were firing On all cylinders and it would be hard for anyone to keep up with them with the way Shaw and Davis were playing. Now After the UT loss anyone could have won Last weekend?

The week leading up to the game threads and prediction thread on the USC board paint a different picture. Nice attempted deflection though

Tried to be honest with you. But go on thinking you are legit. You are not.

agreed. UT is not back. Butch may get us there, but that's TBD. We have a promising recruiting class, and the team is playing with a lot of heart. Both positive signs.

USC is just a pretender. They'll get crushed by Mizzou this weekend. Something to the tune of 41-12.

Not concerned in the least bit. I don't expect to hang with Bama, Dooley simply didn't leave us with enough talented players.

You guys always hate on dooley, you should appreciate him more. He was a bad coach, but recruited ok, but most importantly, he took that god awful job when nobody else in america wanted it. Not like he fought his way through all the other competent coaches lining up begging for the job. Everyone with options turned it down. You should thank dooley.

Shut up, just shut up. Dooley was an average recruiter. Besides, recruiting is just one aspect of a program. The negative impact that that stupid idiot had on the rest of our program far outweighs any minor success that he had in recruiting.

Its true numnutts, NOBODY else would take it. Are you so reality challenged that you remember it differently? Christmas is right around the corner, you should send dooley a gift.

Dooley was awful at everything and should never be allowed back in the state.

This. We weren't at the beginning of the year but the difference between Tennessee post-Florida and now is huge. 2 different teams.

1 - TN defense is starting to come alive.

2 - Held Murray and Shaw both to less then 200 yards passing, Shaw specifically to just over 150.

3 - Sacked Shaw 5 times even with SCs above average OL

4 - Forced Shaw to throw his first INT

5 - Allowed USCe 12 yards of total offense in the 4th quarter.

6 - Negated Davis just about the entire game with the exception of 1 big run for 40+.

That's how that lousy defense held them to 21.

1 - Whether your UT D is starting to come alive or not is still debatable. I thought they played with some emotion and definitely benefited from having the homefield crowd behind them ... which made a huge difference in starting field position throughout 90% of the game.

2 - Were there five sacks? I did not realize that, I thought there were three. Anyways, no doubt our injuries along the OLine and the lost of Waldrop at Center and Patrick at Guard hurt us in that game up the middle - and your D coordinator took advantage of it. Well done by him.

3 - Yes you did - it was bound to happen sooner or later, especially with all the jinxes floating around out there in the air.

4 - Our fourth quarter ineptitude was totally on Spurrier. Spurrier totally screwed the pooch in the 4th qtr. He knows it, we know it, everyone knows it.

5 - Davis had 140 rushing on 21 carries for 1 TD and an average of 6.5 yards per carry .... thus, you now look like a dumbass for posting what you posted. Congrats. You also failed to mention that Byrd had 121 yards receiving and that Shaw was just 4 yards short of rushing for 100 yards himself, on only 19 carries.

Here's the bottom line. Spurrier lost his nerve, for whatever reason, and we lost the game. UT earned it for the most part - made the plays they needed to make - but Spurrier lost his nerve.

SCAR out-gained Tennessee for the game - so obviously it was not about how great Tennessee's D suddenly played.

Mizzou will not be so lucky - at least we hope not. That loss snapped Spurrier out of his funk. Or, who knows, it may not matter if they are simply the better team, I dunno, we'll find-out tomorrow night.

I'm not sure how I feel about you defending UF

This whole season is making for some strange bedfellows, no?

As I've said before, I don't htink there's a gimme game in SEC play. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see us lose one of the next 2 games. Wouldn't be surprised to see us win them either. We're Mizzou. Something always happens when we're doing really well. A 5th down. A kicked-ball touchdown. A gimme pass for the win that gets dropped. A chip-shot field goal that gets missed. Something. Those of us that have been fans for more than 5 years know this, and we're a little more humble. And definitely thankful for our good fortune.
