Well, look at it this way, at least Kiffin is losing a lot louder than Fulmer ever did. I mean, better to burn out and be the laughing stock than to fade away, right?

I knew Tennessee was not good this year, but I didn't know that they were Ole Miss going to double their score bad.

Darth.... the Jinja Ninja? I like it.
How many games has your QB lost in his LIFE?
The Jinja Ninja?... zero.

The NFL is the highest level of football dumbass. You think Monte is a bad DC all of the sudden?
I know they don't have pro football over there in Hellabama, but Monte is kind of a legend. CHavis, only a legend to David Greene and Matt Mauck.
And its not like Monte hasn't had college success. He has two NC rings from Nebraska. He also mentored this guy named Pete Carroll.

Exactly. Which is why being a coach at the college level and the NFL are so different. In the NFL, you have the cream of the crop. In college this is not always, actually almost never, the case. You have to build a defense with guys who have a wide range of abilities and get some of them them to play above their talent level.
Not saying Monte is not a good coach, he is. But his past record in the NFL is not a sound foundation for the argument that he is a great college coach.
