Ags don’t loathe LSU; it’s all good.
I mean we do, but in an “I got your back in the next hurricane, brah,” kinda way.

It’s going to be a big rivalry in a few decades.

It’s time for the Ags to pull up our britches and beat some LSU arse; but this is y’all’s year.
I’m all for LSU doing what they can this year, apart from our game in November.

Jimbo needs a good qb. If he can get one the West will be in trouble.

Can’t that be said for everyone though.

Everyone pulls the “it’s not my money, I don’t care” BS

Which generally is true, but if that money keeps you from pulling out of a bad situation or keeps you from getting something better then it does matter

Just like for a pro sports franchise. If you are stuck in bad contracts those can hamstring franchises for years

It’s going to be a great game. Personally the A&M game is my favorite tailgating scene. I love the combination of great bbq with Cajun food. It can’t be beat.

I got bad news:1) Jimbo had a good qb in the West. Dropped at least two games a year with Jamarcus.

2) only good qb Jimbo signed as a head coach was Crablegs.

I'm not worried about him finding one.

He’s currently got a commitment from a pretty decent kid, Haynes King.
Time will tell?

Y’all act like Jimbo hasn’t been a winner and that he can’t turn things around. I mean you guys hired a perennial loser and he turned it around.

Aww c'mon, EKG...it's not just that Jimbo's record/accomplishments are on par with Sumlin's...it's that A&M is paying such a premium for it and the high hopes that make it so comical.

Truth be told if it were LSU, I'd be seeing red about all of it.

We know, you're clueless.

Let me spell it out for you:

Aggies think that they just need to throw around large sums of money to get what they want. When it doesn't work, they don't realize that the money's not the problem - it's them.

And that's the funny part.

I hear ya.

But y'all have a much more demanding fanbase than do we.
Texas A&M is our worst enemy in that way.
I don’t think it’ll ever change.

Jimbo exceeded last years’s expectations; and this year he wasn’t forecasted to see better than a .500 season.
For now, that’s fine with our base.

I realize people like to joke about the “next year!” meme; but to a man, we’ve all said all along that this year—with the obscene schedule and new coaches—was a season-long exhibition for us.

Trust me: If we fall to Auburn next year, folks won’t be happy.

Devil's advocate: our current AD made that deal. Sabotage or dumbassery that we now have to deal with? Time will tell.

So far this year A&M has paid Jimbo $1,875,000 for three loses and the season is only half over! Well played Jimbo, well played!

And 2 of those 3 teams were #1 in the nation when they were played..
The other was a top 10.

There’s a little bit of latitude given, as a result.
Call it a moral victory, but it’s tough to fault a second year coach for not winning those games.

I mean using the same formula Chad at Arky makes infinity million dollars per Power 5 win.

Hell if you called Jerry Jones and said “you can pay right now $7.5 million per Power 5 win” you would walk away with at least $15 million. $30 million if he gets to pick the P5 win they get (we all know who he would pick).

Not true.

Preseason predictions were revisited earlier this week.

Your fans overwhelmingly predicted 9-3.

Y'all saw the only guaranteed loss to be Bama with UGA and Clemson being tossups.

Most predicted 7-5/8-4 with a possibility of 9-3.

I won’t argue with you, as I have zero data to cite and no reason to question you.
But I’m pretty sure my call was either 7-5 or 8-4.

Regardless, I do think we’ll finish a game or two behind what was predicted.
But it just doesn’t matter.
This year was a wash, regardless.

I will be the first person in line next year to eat crow if we don’t improve.

Jimbo was hired for long term results; not a 4-year turnaround.

That means they saw LSU as a win.
I can’t fricking wait to see Joe put 500 yards, 5 touchdowns and 50 points on them. It’s going to be wonderful to see them embarrassed on national tv.
