You may have a point. UCF beat AU's arse in 2018 and expected a jump right close to the top but it didn't happen since that is so common and playing AU and beating their arse with a one armed football player is no big deal. Therefore it won't help Bama that much if they go into JH and arse rape AU is what you are saying since WTF, UCF does the same. Good point.

We scored 31 on Bama last year with Ty Storey at QB, which was the most by a SEC team.

Will be your top 2 teams in West this year. Both end with 1 loss and beat Bama. LSU wins tie breaker as they will beat Auburn and their loss comes from Aggie.

Auburn has got a hell of a team this year. They are my darkhorse to make the playoffs since they've got a future AA QB, tremendous speed @ receiver and maybe the third best OL in America. Unfortunately Alabama has a current AA type QB, even more speed at WR and the best (tied with UGA) OL in the country. We can't match AU's DL with their 3 studs (we only have two). But short of them getting injured, falling in love or taking up meditation nobody can match our best three guys at the linebackers And we have some db's. You've got Steele but we've got some ornery cats coaching defense. JH late season is tricky and Auburn fans are the best home field crowd in America. But we've got the best starting 22 of anybody. Gotta give AU credit, they prepare and play us like nobody else. Should be a show. I'm taking my AU alum daughter and her Ohio ST alum beau to give him a taste of some of that old fashioned Southern football religion.
