Coach Saban's final ballot is starting to look pretty good.

Just can't get into it. So many other games today I keep going back between the Fiesta and "That Girl" on some network called 'ME TV'. Man, Marlo Thomas was one awesome babe in 1966.

How much less could you care about that game?
A little bit. But that would take effort.

I hoping Stanford whips OSU's arse! That way when we slam Bama, there will be no doubters saying "LSU should have played OSU and their high powered offense anyway!"
this is what LSU fans should want. end thread

Changed my mind. After some thought, I want OSU to lose, and lose badly. Regardless as to who wins on January 9th, I do not want to hear how the BCS got it wrong. I am sick of BCS controversy involving LSU.

Wolfhound 45: "Could NOT care less" is correct. Vast majority on this board won't get that...

Thanks, but I had to do an edit immediately after I posted. I got it wrong as well the first time.

Not pulling for either. I really don't care which one wins, but feel validated more than ever in believing that no team is in the same class as LSU and Bama

Anything to deflect your infallible coaches manipulation.

The fact you can't understand the distinction here is troubling.

i am rooting for stanford just so there isn't anyone out there saying lsu didn't beat the real #2 after we shite on Bama

It's ok that you are looking through the purple and gold glasses. I wouldnt expect anything less. I see things with crimson glasses. Your coach used the same argument we did to get votes when there was a question that LSU wouldnt make it in 2007. Saban did the same thing. In fact, I would be shocked if they didnt considering the money they make.

First of all, none of this matters and the outcome of the current Fiesta bowl has no bearing on anything, despite what your posts would like to indicate. Stupid fricking logic is stupid fricking logic.
Saban, like Miles, felt they were the best team out of the the contenders. Miles thought LSU was the best. Saban used some intellectual honesty in voting himself behind LSU, but above everyone else. I have no problem with Saban voting his team two. But to vote a Stanford team above OSU doesn't make much sense. You think Stanford is better than Oregon because they have one less loss? What about Clemson and VT? You see, losses don't mean a whole lot at in certain situations and don't necessarily point to a team being better. LSU didn't play OSU prior to the NC game, didn't play in the same league, and it's quite feasible to conclude that a two loss LSU team was better/is better than Ohio St.
Should I cite the actual game between LSU and Ohio St. to prove Miles vote? That's what you're doing.
