Upshaw a bust

Upshaw has been a force in Baltimore since day 1, ask a Ravens fan about Upshaw
He has also struggled with weight issues during his time there.

Yeah because frick facts and stats.
Like the ones that showed PP7 to be not as good as the amount of cock gobbling that LSU fans do for him?
I think Julio just caught another 30+ yard pass on his bitch arse, just a moment ago.

So you're basing that on a hypothetical what if, and not the facts in front of your face. Solid.
Seattle can't throw the ball either. Didn't stop Lynch. Minnesota hasn't been able to throw the ball in a decade. Hasn't stopped Peterson. Kansas City, San Fransicso. Same story. It hurts doesn't it, that Alabama is better at NFL too.
not that hypothetical. Odell had a better rookie season than Julio did in he best season as a pro. tough to swallow. thats a fact. and he wasnt a starter till what? week 9? haha

quote:I'd say, since 2009 (when Gus Malzahn first started at Auburn and was associated with the team), Auburn busts include Ben Tate and Corey Lemonier. Ben Tate was taken in the 2nd round and Corey Lemonier was taken in the 3rd round. Talking high draft picks, at least. Dee Ford has been a bust so far, after being taken in the 1st round by the Kansas City Chiefs. As later round picks, Zach Clayton, Brandon Moseley, Walter McFadden and Tyrone Green were wasted picks, IMO.
Outside of Cody Parkey, who is lighting it up in the NFL that is a former Auburn Tiger?
Cam Newton, Nick Fairley, Greg Robinson, Tre Mason, Sen'Derrick Marks and Jerraud Powers have all been successful in the NFL. Jay Prosch is the starting full back for the Houston Texans right now.

His job isn't making sacks. He sets the edge and let's the inside guys clean it up. Like defensive rookie of the year CJ Mosley. He's a Super Bowl Champion with a pivotal forced fumble on the biggest stage in the sporting universe.

If you polled 32 GMs and 31 owners and asked if they'd rather have Beckham or Jones, you'd get 63 votes for Jones.

Uhhh what? Jesus Christ. I blame ESPN and that dumb fricking hype for that dumb fricking 1 handed catch for this ignorance.
Receiving Stats
Is that Julio at #3 and OBJ at #10? I fricking think so.
But please, tell me more about your facts.

No the frick you wouldn't. Beckham's yards per game and touchdowns per game as a rookie are as good or better than Julio's best year

"Me feeling I'm the best corner in the league, I want the team's No. 1 receiver, period," Peterson said. "That's where you get the opportunity to gain the respect from your peers and be recognized as one of the best and one of the greats after you are done with the game."
ETA: "From my record, the only thing I can remember is, I won three and lost one," Jones said. "I whipped him twice in college and I lost one time in college and I won the one time in the NFL. That's the only thing I can remember. So, you can take that any kind of way."
Make that twice in the NFL now Mr. Jones

No kidding. Peterson was/is overrated this year. He sucked and the Honey Badger died somewhere along the way.

JJ fricking abused PP. Bruce Arians said as much.

You are a fricking moron. Julio played 3 more games than Beckham but only had 13 more receptions. Just forget that Beckham averages 7.5 receptions per game

He's a solid player. Not a bust. And definitely not a "force."
He's good at playing the SAM. Sets the edge very well. Good in run support. Not much of a pass-rusher (hence why Dumervil always plays those situations). And decent in space.

When the Texans selected Kareem Jackson in the first round, they probably expected a little more than him being the 11th best cornerback in his very best year
I'm sure anyone would pay that price for how uncertain drafting is. 11th overall is great, consider how many qualifiers(110 CBs) there are for that position alone.

You forgetting Julio's injuries and lack of minutes due to injuries?
This is a dumb argument. Julio is simply a better WR than OBJ. Doesn't mean OBJ isn't a good/great WR - just means he ain't Julio.

Courtney Upshaw also only had 42 tackles this year and only has 131 tackles in 3 years. He doesn't make that many tackles and he doesn't make that many sacks. However, he is awesome according to bammers because he sets the edge and allows other people to get all the glory

quote:Awesome, 1 of 2 in his career according to ESPN. Josh Bynes is a Super Bowl champion. What's the big deal? Should we brag about Terrence Cody also being a Super Bowl champion?
He's a Super Bowl Champion with a pivotal forced fumble on the biggest stage in the sporting universe.
Here's a little article by PFF on Courtney Upshaw: LINK
quote:
Courtney Upshaw and Pernell McPhee, OLBs: -3.1 and +3.1 respectively
Breakdown: The Ravens may have hit on one linebacker out of Alabama taken early in the draft (CJ Mosley) but it’s increasingly looking like Upshaw won’t fulfil his potential. He looks like the same player in his third year as he did coming out. Against the Browns he allowed a first down in coverage, failed to make any stops and recording just the solitary pressure on ten rushes. In contrast Baltimore’s fifth-round pick in 2011 continues to go from strength to strength. McPhee graded positively in every facet of play, recording two sacks, a hit, a hurry and a batted pass as a rusher and to go with four defensive stops.
