Is the last time bama won a national championship in football. Don't try using the covid championship, because we can all agree that entire season doesn't count.

the game was played in 18' but it was the championship for 17' so a long 5 year drought for the gumps.

According to criteria set forth by Bama fan EarlyCuyler this morning, 2017 doesn't count either, because it was not a unanimous title. Colley recognized UCF as the national champs. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me, but Cuyler seems super smart.
