Again, Rivals had NO ONE covering LA.

What about Scout and ESPN? Because they both had Reed as LA's top prospect as well

I'm not trying to debate who is the best now or who will be the best. I was just clarifying who the top ranked player in LA was, because the previous poster was just making up stuff

ESPN

No one had anyone covering LA until this past year for a span of 3 years. They were assigned regions and made visits here and there, but no one scouted out LA like they have this year, and the major reason is the talent the state is producing once again. Jamie Newberg has hit up NO and LA schools this year for ESPN, Chad Simmons is making sure to make plenty of in roads to LA for scout, Rivals are still sitting on their asses, and 24/7 can go frick itself for now, because we don't have a site.

No I wasn't. This is what I was referring to in my previous post:

LINK

As far as what his coach said, of course he's going to stand up for him. The kid walked off the field and sat on the bench. He put on a hoodie and sat there the rest of the game. Then he walked out and shook everyone's hand after the game without any trouble. He laid down.

Edited because for some reason the link wouldn't work.

The LSU Rivals site rating Reed (an AU commit) way lower than everybody else's rankings is not surprising. That's pure bias, Reed was ranked the top player by ESPN, Rivals, and Scout. That's enough for me.

He was apparently hurt, and his team was already getting killed. I don't think either of us know the kid personally, so to say he has no heart and will not amount to anything makes you sound like you have major sour grapes

No sour grapes here. He's a dime a dozen. LSU has 10 "Trovon Reed's" on the roster now.

You have one and he can't seem to stay on the field for more than a play or two. Maybe everyone should just stop recruiting trovon Reeds?

Odell Beckham Jr. weighs about 20 lbs less than Reed right now. He also picked LSU over powerhouses such as Tulane, Souther Miss., Tulsa, Miss. St., & Memphis. They are just being butthurt homers.

Odell Beckham Jr... AAA WR, and was blowing by CB's in the AAA game. He has been a beast this summer and might end up being our slot WR by the time fall camp is over. James Wright has been here a year and got lots of playtime as a true freshman. He is 6'2 , so the Reed comparison doesn't really fit I guess since Reed is 5'11 and some change.

his father was at LSU

Sorry didn't see where you were talking about Wright. Thought you were still talking about OBJ.

I'm not slighting Trovon because i wanted him at LSU. But an Auburn fan shitting on Odell Beckam will look pretty silly in the next few years.
