Is anyone who ranked Saban 2nd worth listening to?

You clearly have some kind of weird, personal issue with Kelly, which is fine, I was just curious why he bothers you so much.

Again, all that bothers me is having to see "actually, Brian Kelly is good!" topics flood the forum. No other fanbase is doing that.

1. Brian Kelly is "good," he's second in the SEC in winning percentage. You don't do that without at least being "good."

2. Every fanbase on here posts topics about their coach/players/team being good, especially rankings lists. Now you're just being untruthful.

Again, what is your complex with BK, specifically?

You don't have to answer, I'm just curious.

I'm not sure why you don't like my answer, but I already gave it. No other fanbase on this site is bending over backwards to convince themselves their coach is good.

And no, I think most of the SEC (outside of MSU, Vandy, Kentucky, and A&M) considers the threshold for good being championships. I know LSU won't be satisfied if BK continues his 20+ year trend.

No. 3 Kalen DeBoer, Alabama

Why’d you leave this one out?

Does this count as another championship for Brian Kelly?

Way to go!

I mean that can be your answer but I think any reasonable person can see that it's completely false.

As an example, we've had multiple Alabama posters just recently touting DeBoer's NAIA record as an indicator of him being a good hire.

We had at least one Alabama fan post a ranking just the other day, similar to this, except it placed DeBoer over Kelly.

By that token, we have 3 good coaches in CFB, Kirby, Dabo, and Mack Brown.

The other 100+ are "bad."

Weird take.

Hilarious to me how the Bama fans have screamed for years that LSU's multiple Final Four trips are meaningless. Now that DeBoer is at Bama, a trip to the CFP is equivalent to the a prestigious Final Four.

Go troll elsewhere.

Not everything is an LSU vs Bama thing. It’s not about propping up DeBoer, your coach has been twice. If I were making this a Bama vs LSU argument why would I introduce a stat that favored LSU?

It’s a data point responding to a ranking of the top coaches. Focus.

Dabo on paper has without doubt the best resume, but would anyone take him today over the other guys? Some of them, sure. Dude went 10-3, 11-3 and 9-4 the last few seasons. Clemson has fallen off but that's a good enough resume even if it wasn't three of his worst years

Is losing 3-4 games in the ACC a positive in your mind?

His top wins those seasons were over teams like Duke, Wake Forest and Syracuse. The ACC is a P4 conference by name only.

Those Clemson teams he trotted out would’ve lost 4-5 games minimum playing an SEC schedule those years.

It's been 2 years of the Brian Kelly PR tour. The DeBoer thing was annoying for like a week and has died down.

LSU fans have been trying to convince us that the loss of DC and DL coach will make Mizzou football team trending downward.

I’ll take that as a true.

Mizzou will not win 11 games next year.

If the O/U for them comes at over 9.5. I’m going under all day.

This is like LSU attaching themselves to Alabama by saying LSU and Alabama are the 2 best football programs in the SEC

I'm just curious why Kelly has gotten under your skin so much.

You don't consistently bash any other head coach, and the he hasn't done anything towards Florida that I'm aware of.

He really really wants you to call out Alabama and Brian DeBoer also lol

It’s as if DeBoer is 63 years old and a HC fior 20 plus years like Kelly lulz
