When were we allowed to ring our cowbells during stoppages of play? Sure in the beginning of the season the rules werent followed 100% but it should have been assumed that there was going to be a learning curve. I think the school followed the rules to the letter. What is Slive talking about? I really hate this man.
Yet again the MSU fans want to be treated like the retard in the classroom.

Might as well just rule them illegal again, everyone knew this wouldn't work.

Just get everyone in the stadium to use the MSU cowbell app on their smart phones, it would be difficult to ban those.

+1, just like asking our students to stop chanting TSWRA, people are stubborn and stupid for the most part.

Such bullshite that Auburn is getting away with what they did and MSU is being fined for something as little as this...

I thInk that Slive levying any fine against us is laughable and o ly shows his distaste and animosity for State, or any school not named Bama, Florida or LSU. I hope he chokes on his own vomit tonight and dies a horrible disgraceful death! He can eat a dick for all I care

Wow, you really are wanting some special treatment, huh?

You missed the point of what I was trying to say. State should not be allowed to bring in artificial noisemakers. Period.
No matter how well you think y'all followed the rules I have little doubt that some drunk students were still ringing their artificial noisemakers during 3rd and long during the 4th quarter.
No one else has that advantage. Why should y'all?

So you want a bunch of special treatment?

Not at all. I just want Slive to keep his dick skinners off our cowbells. Like someone else stated, the SEC has bigger fish to fry. How many State players have been arrested since Mullen came to town? How many have been involved in burglaries? And I hope hope the a-hole does choke on his own vomit.

You need to go back and read the OP. This post was not about if they should be allowed or not stop threadjacking. And FYI I was at all of the games and you could not hear the few tards ringing the bells during play because of the loud yelling.

The bottom line is that y'all are getting special treatment and should not be whining about getting fined. It is your tradition, I know that, but it is a harmful tradition because it creates an unfair advantage. We had harmful traditions too, like the flag at games, but we banned those ourselves.

quote:The rule is clear. We broke the rule the entire season but way better the last half than in the first half. Tell us what the fine is. Appeal it. We lose. Pay it. Reiterate the rule to the fans. MSU should then decide how badly we want the cowbells (as in what cost is affordable). If we can afford the fine - pay it. If it's not worth it to the school - then we will find out just how important that tradition that Scott spoke of means to us.

When has there been an unfair advantage? When has the cowbell changed the outcome of a game? Please find one.
I assume you were talking about the confederate flag? In that case it must suck to have such a PC president. If its ok for our state flag then its ok for TSUn IMO.

You're a fricking tard if you think that the extra noise that cowbells generate does not create an unfair advantage. Davis Wade is one of the loudest places I've ever been.

The problem I have is that Slive is making it seem like the school deliberately broke the rules

That's because our fans stay IN THE STADIUM till the end of the game. I guaren-damn-tee that Tiger Stadium is way louder than DWS with cowbells full blast. They registered as an earthquake once, so don't tell me that 30,000 cowbells can make as much noise.
