Sankey's SEC refs won't see it that way.

Disagree completely. If Leavitt has a bad game, Ole Miss will win.
Like it or not? This is first real test for him. Ole Miss should pressure every chance they get. Dude is not tall and can throw some picks.
If he is on, LSU by 10-14.

Chambliss gives them a chance against anyone, imo.

You think we are that outmatched?
Yes 100%
Charlotte 49rs moved the ball for 322 yards.
So are they better than Clemson and La Tech combined?
Leavitt doesn’t need to be great to beat you. Just serviceable.
LSU will move the ball against you. If you stack the box to try and prevent the run, you will be leaving people in man coverage.
If you drop everyone into coverage LSU will run it down your throat.
Your secondary is awful
You gave up 8 plays of 20 yards or more in the 2nd half of the Louisville game. That’s more yards than LSU is giving up in a game.
You gave up 32 points in the 2nd half.
You should feel lucky that Lincoln Kienholz didn’t figure out how the forward pass worked before halftime.
They had 83 yards in the 1st half
They had 386 yards in the 2nd half
Ask yourself this: if the Charlotte 49ers put up 322 yards and Louisville put up 386 yards and 32 points in a half, how good is my defense?
Mind you Goldilocks and the Three Beers was your defense coordinator and the architects of your offense are now your opponent.

quote:No, he thinks the only way Ole Miss can keep it close is if Ole Miss commits penalties and the refs deliberately ignore it as part of an SEC conspiracy, which is the most predictable take of all time from an online LSU fan.
So, you think the only way that Ole Miss can keep it close is that we commit penalties?

Gripping.

Keep in mind 2 of the starting cornerbacks for Ole Miss have missed all but 1 quarter so far and are now healthy. No saying we're going to be great in the secondary, but we have been down some players we are getting back.

The only scenario I see where Ole Miss wins this.
Of course.
LSU is obviously the greatest football in the history of the world, past, present and future.
The only reason anyone ever has more success than LSU is if they are cheating for their rosters since by default they will want to play for LSU.
And when LSU starts to gain success despite these completely unfair conditions, they still have to deal with the refs who only call bs flags against LSU and never call them against their opponent.
