SkyCast viewing option

Overall it's a solid option. No announcers means that you can hear the crowd noise and the bands way better and it's more of a realistic and visceral experience.
SkyCam needs to back up a little bit imo. The quarterback keeps disappearing when he takes too far of a drop back. On the plus side, when a quarterback makes a really crazy arse touchdown pass like the one Milton just threw, you can see the whole thing opening up and appreciate how hard he threw it.
I'm just glad that television producers are tinkering with some different shite. Football literally has been broadcasted the same way since the 1960s. Same camera angle. Same play by play/color commentator dynamic. "That's right Bob. Big play in this game coming up."
I refuse to believe there's not a better way to broadcast a football game.

Hearing the PA announcer right?
I’ve always loved the sky cast angle. Maybe not all game but I like it

Yep, that's the one. PA announcer. ESPN's offering it for this game. I just like that you can actually hear the crowd and get a feel for the momentum, as opposed to listening to two blowhards in a sound booth smh.

How do you get this kind of broadcast?
I love watching football but absolutely loathe the talking heads who can’t ever shut up.

Is this on network?
Or just on the app?
Or just on the app?

SkyCam is tGOAT viewing experience but this game is the exception because instead of color commentary you get Rocky Top

I like the fact that you cannot hear the espn announcers on this broadcast. Those guys are annoying.

I think I saw that the app is also offering each teams radio broadcast.
Is that radio only?
Or radio on top of the TV copy?

There should be an option for every sports broadcast to turn off the commentators and just get the PA/Stadium sounds.

SEC network is carrying it.

I've got SkyCast playing beside my ear for the audio, and then the regular production on my television on mute. You have to pause the television copy by a few seconds, but it works.
Overall the 50 yard line cam is still a little better imo. SkyCam needs to back up a little bit. Can't see the quarterback if he drops back too far in the pocket. On the flip slide you can see the play opening up downfield instead of having no idea what's going on downfield from the 50 yard line cam until the QB releases the ball.
Not perfect, but it's still nice to have options and most of all not listen to the blowhard announcers making playful jokes with each other about how much they ate at dinner last night and who's golf game is worse.
Most of all, with way more stadium audio piped in, it feels like "a big game" and it's more of an interactive experience as opposed to just some random shite on ESPN that feels like everything else on ESPN.
