Is this not just a ranking of the size of CFB stadiums?

% of Capacity would be much more meaningful.

Wow at that number

What was the percentage when they hosted gameday? Must have been something like 135%

Surprisingly it was 102.5%. The game skewing their numbers was the UNC game at 119.7% capacity.

Don't see it happening. The days of pushes to increase stadium capacity are probably gone. Now that every game is televised...attendance isn't your big moneymaker anymore.

Michigan is gorgeous

UP is quite nice in the summer

It is like a whole different state than the mitten

The company I worked-for, for years, our home office is in St Clair Shores next-to Gross Point. Our other office is in Ann Arbor so I've been up there a few hundred times, spents years combined up there. Have a lake place on Devil's Lake down Michigan Ave in Irish Hills not far past the Michigan Motor Speedway. Have been up north to the UP too many times to count. Was just up there again a couple of months ago ... doing the winery tour with my wife and friends. Traverse City, Mackanaw Island (Somewhere in Time), Fish Land, etc. We love it up there.

Michigan is one of this country's greatest and most beautiful states ... it's just too bad that it's controlled by a few large urban center, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, etc.

Been to many many a game at The Big House for decades. It's a great place, great environment, great fans, great campus. Been to several games at the Shoe and two games in Happy Valley. All verses Michigan games except one game at the Shoe when Cooper was still coaching there, they were enclosing the open end of the stadium at the time, there was a huge Wendy's Dave scoreboard at the closed end ... OSU was playing Michigan State and, if I remember correctly, it ended in a tie with MSU kicking six field goals. OSU had an all star roster that year too.

B1G football and home games are completely different than SEC environments and home games. Wisconsin is probably the closest thing to an SEC environment in the B1G.

That is exactly correct. If anything there will continue-to-be downsizing. Ripping-up seats and replacing them with luxury boxes. It's all about the experience now, the amenities. It's very much going the way of NFL palace stadiums. Smaller capacities, more pomp and glitter. Better food, beer wnd liquor, easy cultured high-quality access and experience. Catering-to the wealthy and ultra wealthy and corporate crowd.
