Impressive accomplishment but it seems kinda random that women's volleyball is singled out as the 3rd most prominent women's sport as opposed to say women's gymnastics or women's golf for example

This is like in the NBA now when they say he's only the third guy to ever have 25 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists, 2 blocks, 3 steals, 4 made threes and shoot 100 percent from the FT line. Truly remarkable player.

My guess is all SEC schools have women's volleyball but all don't have gymnastics. I'm guessing it's more common to have a women's volley ball team.

Hopefully next season the Longhorn men's basketball team can enter the conversation. Making the play-in-tournament and losing should not count.

We did pretty good in the other 5

Football: Final 4 lost to eventual champ in choke job were closer to making the Buckeye lose than anyone else this postseason

Volleyball: Down year but still made the round of 8

Women's Basketball: Final four despite getting thrashed by SCar a 2nd time

Softball: In OKC so no lower than top 8 but TBD starts tomorrow

Baseball: Absolute TBD but I like our regional draw despite UTSA having already won in Austin this year. I do like the potential SR vs UCLA in Austin because you get SEC vs B1G champs even though ACC is better than B1G in baseball.

To Texas Men's Basketball:

Well, add LSU to this list.

(We turned down an NIT bid... That's right, MFers!)

Every power 5 school except Vanderbilt & Oklahoma State has a volleyball team. Vanderbilt will be sponsoring a team starting next school year in 2025.

Vanderbilt does not play softball
