a lot of folks seem to forget that a big chunk of Manziels passing yards in that game came from passes he more or less just threw up for grabs and hoped his receiver would come down with it. But I guess that's what you have to do when you're down 3 td's in the 4th qtr...or 2 TD's down with only 35 seconds left in the game.

There was a lot of questionable playcalling by Gus before the half that kept AU from blowing the game wide open...not to mention lack of holding, called against the Aggies.

I agree Aggy. You guys were lucky to have keep it close and even been within striking distance of AU late in the game. AU should have won by 20 and probably would have if not for that 14 point swing when Coates dropped the ball in the first half.

Bama gave up over 600 yards. Its not silly to judge any defense based on that kind of performance.

Just sayin...

Silly to point to Alabama's record and claim they are number 1

what makes you think this?

Because every decent offense bama played in 2012, moved the ball at will. Lsu was the 85th ranked offense and had 430 yards of offense.

Which tells me that game was more than a fluke than a decent offense moving the ball down the field.

So A&M and UGA were flukes too? Wow. 3 flukes In a month.

Based on Bama's performance in every other game this season, and especially against a talented Ole Miss offense, the A&M game was a total abberation. Credit to Mike Evans and Manziel, but there were some freakish plays in that game.

You do realize lsu has far more playmakers than A&M

We have more for sure but JFF kept plays alive with his legs. There's only one of him in the conference. Zach is going to have to throw accurately and quickly, imo.

Bama staying stubborn hurt them in that A&M game. Once it was reaized we didn't have someone who could handle Evans, help should've been given to cover Evens. But to the coaches defense, it seemed Bama had the game in control after the 2nd. Still, only long TD's hurt you then. So over the top help should've been called at all times.

That Yeldon fumble about cost Bama
Plus, never seen so many lame duck passes succeed

Bama defense has improved
But there's always room for more improvement
LSU's balanced attack should be a great challenge
