that's b.s. A lot of us have said it might be a good hire. Could also be a disaster, but who knows

Guess you didn’t follow the baseball thread after Marinara was forced into retirement. All the “sources” around the program swore up and down they would offer Corbin and Vitello offers they couldn’t resist. Well guess what they both did and y’all moved onto Johnson. When Johnson was announced the fan base was split on how they felt about it.

Les Miles, Coach O is currently still being investigated as well as the athletic program is for Title 9 issues. Les Miles was fired at Kansas beciase the inaction he didn’t take while at LSU converting for football players that committed these crimes. Darius Guice is suspended indefinitely right now pending investigation due to committing the act while being at LSU.

The "sources" also said Bianco to Ole Miss was a done deal.
The "sources" didn't know shite back then and don't know shite now IMO.
Vitello says himself that he was never contacted by LSU.

There are so many inaccuracies in this statement I don't even know where to start.

Sylvester Croom will be a hit at LSU.

Cry less.
No matter who gets him he's an unknown at the next level. Might continue his arc and turn out to be a NC coach. Might not have what it takes to compete at the next level.
He's not a homerun. He's a relatively safe bet as an up-and-comer. Whether it's LSU, UF or someone else.

As long as it's a better pick than Dooley, Butch, or Pruitt I'll be ok with it

Napier would be a decent hire...not a home run. A home-run would be going out and hiring a coach that's proven already that he can win a national championship.
All I see are a bunch of teams hoping for a bunt single, but probably will eventually foul out on a 3rd strike 3 years down the road and pay a ridiculously stupid buyout.

Why was Les Miles go at Kansas? Did Guice not rape someone while at LSU and it was covered up?

What else you think Vitello is gonna say when he was in Omaha. Coaching searches these days are done though there agents a lot of times now.

I see you purposely forgot to mention Hueple. The idiots that hired Kiffin, Dooley, Butch and Pruitt are all gone. We have an actual AD now that knows what he is doing.

What reason does Vitello or his agent have to hide LSU's supposed interest in him?
That would raise his brand power significantly.

Napier at Florida means that he's never going to be at LSU/Bama. I'm okay with that

Jury is still out on Hype... he's done a decent job with your offense. We'll see how he does long term.

A few years ago all signs pointed to Chip Kelly, did they not? You guys have

He’s grasping at straws — he couldn’t back up what he’s saying about the coach hiring so now he’s simply parroting falsehoods that others have posted.

yeah but that will also be Alabama when Saban retires. There is no sure thing. It's hit or miss.
