Reports say....

"....Kansas will not only vacate wins but also have to take down their 2018 Final Four banner because of Silvio De Sousa, who played in 15 of Kansas’ wins that season, including the Big 12 Tournament they won that year, as well as their NCAA Tournament run, which ended with a loss to Villanova in the Final Four.

“Kansas shall vacate all regular season and conference tournament wins, records, and participation in which men’s basketball student-athlete No. 1 competed while ineligible in the 2017-18 academic year.”

Kansas has to vacate 15 wins that De Sousa was a part of and that puts KENTUCKY back in the lead with 2,377 wins and Kansas now falls back to second with 2,370.

CONGRATULATIONS, KENTUCKY!!

Calipari is still coaching Kentucky, we could easily get the all time wins back this season

That lead will diminish fast as long as cal is the coach. Most preseason polls dont even have them ranked

The only reason Kansas was ahead is because we vacated wins in the past. Kansas also started playing 4 yrs before us. You're behind us, where you belong. Deal with it.

forfeiting wins for a player (that sucked) who kansas deliberately did not play until the NCAA themselves ruled him eligible, twice.

excellent system.

This will shock folks, particularly our favorite Kansas fan, but I understand the eye rolling "okay, fine." nature of this from Kansas folks.

Arkansas has some track titles stripped from us for some amazingly pissy arse "violations." I think this a retroactive punishment to make a point even though the case isn't that strong.

I don't say this to knock Kentucky. I think they are a great basketball program. I do think Kansas shouldn't have had those wins stripped away. Hell, Princeton has a ton of national football championships and it was open knowledge they were hiring players back in the early 1900s.

There are some frankly hideous violations that have gotten a wink and nod from the NCAA.

Use the 4 year cope when you’re behind again, which I anticipate to be soon.

You'll have to speak up. I can't hear you all the way down there in second place.

NCAA not going down without a fight. But going down nonetheless.

They only had the lead because UK vacated some wins back in the 80s.

Funny, but sad as it probably represents the truth.
