Yes, increasing IGF-1 would be effective, but I haven't read anything indicating that these sprays are actually having an effect on users. Straight IGF-1 doesn't stick around long enough. The IGF-1 that bodybuilders use is modified so that it has a longer half-life. More than likely, this stuff is just another placebo.

This.If it has actually worked for them I would bet it's from the placebo effect.I know people who use ion bands who claim it helps their golf game, just because they think it does doesn't mean it does.
