I really think strength and conditioning become a really big factor early on as well. I'm hoping Saban's move toward innovative, more technology driven S&C pays dividends to max gains in such a short time, while reducing risk of injuries.

The first month will look rough for all. But, who cares. I just want to see some football.

You should be glad Nick Saban got into using the internet now so that he can communicate and send info to players and coaches. That was a much needed for him while on lockdown.

Since there will not be football until 2021, it is not going to be that bad of an impact.

By the Fall of 2021, everybody will be in the same boat.

Not true! Arkansas will be the one that gets the most benefits due to an overall replacement. 2021 will give them more time and will get players and coaches to gel and get experience. Some other new head coaches will also help them as well.

I think we are fooling ourselves if we accept this as true. It is akin to Dabo's "awe, shucks" persona. It is what he chooses to present to the audience. Saban is way too strategic minded and adaptable to truly be the full on crotchety, old, luddite that he pretends to be deep into the information age.

That said, I think he understands the power of social media to work for and against him. So, he is advisedly reserved with its use, and his connections to others outside his inner circles of most trusted professional associates and family/personal relations is likely very small.

From your lips to God's ears. Anything has to be better than we've been through lately.
