Still have no clue why we didn’t take them instead of A&M. I mean I know A&M was desperately looking for a way to stop having to play Texas every year, but we shouldn’t have just picked them up as an act of charity.

Texas Tech is in the panhandle...not even remotely close to the South East. Closer to New Mexico than the westernmost SEC school. Check a map before you post.

There are two Power 5 schools rated below MSU in the US News rankings.

Tech would've given your conference the in-state rates for the SEC Network just as well as aggy, but with a hell of a lot less baggage.

Nothing wrong with Lubbock and Tech. I have to go out there for work every month or so and have come to like it.
Tech fans are much more down to earth and don’t have the god complex like the milk men
West TX has some very nice salt of the earth people and Tech has some very nice talent. They just built a Walk Ons by campus and sweet Jesus the waitresses.....
