don't like the city of Atlanta honestly. Not for the SEC title game. City is to busy

No idea what this even means. The game is played at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. The entire focus is on the SECCG

The games are awesome but never loved being in Atlanta

It's the best most centrally located venue for playing a game in December.I get the tailgating thing but the parking/tailgating situation is better than the old Dome.

I'd prefer it in Jacksonville

The area surrounding the stadium is a dump... the tailgating lots are it's best selling point

Legion Field,

What?

Wow, tailgating must be really important to you.

Yes, but not because of any riots or anything. Atlanta is just a lame garbage city.

That's why it was chosen as an Olympics venue.

Yea its tailgating for me. It makes CFB better. Big cities are for the NFL type game to me. Just my opinion it means nothing lol

I also like the venue in Jacksonville...great place to watch a game but they REALLY need to change the way they get folks in and out of there

In my opinion, it should be moved to New Orleans. As New Orleans is a better tourist destination relative to Atlanta. Plus it would almost be another home game for LSU like it currently is for UGA.

It could move to Dallas or Houston and likely would never serve a team from the state.

So everyone else has to drive forever to watch teams other than a and m play.

Those saying legion field are just plain dumb and cold and rainy is likely in Nashville pitside.

New Orleans already hosts the sugar as the very next game. Not to mention the Super Dome, lacking any real history, is the worst stadium in major US sport.

Florida fans likely wouldn't even show up in Tampa or Jville.

No, but I've always thought that having the football championship in Atlanta every year is not fair to the teams and fans in the far west. It should rotate with New Orleans every other year.
The biggest argument against New Orleans is the tie in with the Sugar Bowl. The way things work with the playoff nowadays, if the Sugar Bowl is not one of the semi-finals you're very likely to have the loser of the SEC championship game appear in the Sugar Bowl, so that means a team that just lost a game in New Orleans is going to be asked to make a second trip to New Orelans in a matter of weeks. That's a recipe for unsold seats (and hotel rooms) at the Sugar Bowl, so I don't think New Orleans would be all that interested.

I really think we should rotate. Georgia pretty much gets a home game very championship and that’s not fair at all

Good Lord, Auburn isn't an hour/half further from Atlanta and has an enormous amount of Auburn Alums...

Yeah there isn't but about 15-20 min. difference between Auburn/Atlanta and Athens/Atlanta. And I believe tickets are pretty evenly dispersed.

Did you see the breakdown of fans when we played you guys there a few years ago? It was like 70% UGA fans. I think because a lot of the corporate seats end up going to Georgia fans since many of these corporations that get them are based in Atlanta

Don’t blame Atlanta for your unsupportive and or cheap fan base.

The Atlanta corporate tickets all go to UGA fans, which mean UGA controls no less than 70 percent of the crowd.
