Way more to consider when it comes to postponing a game in this situation than just fans making it to the game.
Operations such as emergency services (PD, Fire), the hundreds of part time stadium staff (sometimes they have a portion that are bussed in, especially for big games), and the facility operations (setup of gates/security checkpoints, concessions, game day deliveries of essentials) can all be affected by a hurricane coming through hours before kickoff.
I’ve worked in a couple of P4 athletic departments including one in the southeast where we had to monitor hurricanes probably half a dozen times over a few football seasons and we ended up with a couple of postponed games. I think we postponed one when a hurricane came through on like a Wednesday or Thursday but I’d have to go back and look. A lot of logistics people don’t think about, so don’t be too surprised if the game is affected even if it’s not raining Saturday at 7.
This, plus all of the cops/EMS/fire folks will have more important things to be dealing with than working a football game.

We will already be there Friday night, just play the game if the storm still tracks Saturday and doesn't arrive sooner.

From james spann 30 minutes ago:
-Saturday will be a windy, wet day for inland Alabama. Rain amounts of 2-4 inches are possible over the western half of the state, with 1-2 inches over North and East Alabama.
-Winds could gust to 40/50 mph over West Alabama as Isaias moves northward.
-A few tornadoes are possible Saturday morning, mainly over the southern half of Alabama.
-Models continue to trend faster. A good chance much of the rain will be over in time for the Alabama/Georgia game in Tuscaloosa
-There will still be a risk of showers at the venue but not the widespread rain we will experience Saturday morning

The game will be 100% postponed or moved. It doesn’t matter wha time of day the storm hits, you aren’t sending people in what is now the center of the cone of a hurricane, regardless of strength.
